| 9/217. Hawkshill 5th greenside bunker ( one on the left nearest green ) New face getting built . Years of edging on this bunker has meant stones from the exposed sand face were falling into middle of bunker , so new re vetted face will stop this happening. |

| 9/2/17. The process of building up a new face is strips of turf are laid on top of each other ( on top of a solid base), making sure joins are covered by next layer ( in a brick wall style) until you reach required height , soil is backfilled behind face as its built to stabilise it. |

| 2/2/17. This was a big task , but staff were up to the challenge and worked hard to have all drains dug out , pipe installed and filled up with stones in 1 week . Great effort ! |

| 16/2/17. New sharpening grinders arrived . This is the bedknife(sole plate) one now in place.This is so beneficial to the club as this will help keep blades sharp on all machines right through the season, and for future sharpening. |
